Matthew 11:28-30

28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

There is no greater burden than freedom and no heavier load than liberty!

Concept of freedom was not invented by man but for man.

Freedom is basic to our sense of value.

The spirit of freedom is akin to the spirit of truth!

John 8:31-36

Freedom is a human right given by God.

Genesis 1:26

Then God said, “Let us make human beings[a] in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth,[b] and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

"As a man thinketh in his heart(mind) so is he"

Proverbs 23:7

They are always thinking about how much it costs.[a]

“Eat and drink,” they say, but they don’t mean it.

First, "You are not free until your mind is liberated."

  • Jesus gave us His proposition for freedom in

John 8:32

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

  • The source of freedom is knowledge! John 8:31-36

Second, Freedom is not the absence of law work or labor, but the embracing of responsibility!

  • Remember the foundation of true freedom is management!

Third, Freedom is a burden that only the mature can bear.

  • John 16:1-3, 12, 13

Fourth, Because nothing truly changes until your mind changes

  • In Genesis God the Creator placed the man in the garden and said, "you are free" Genesis 2:16,17

  • Luke 4:18-19

Fifth, "It is for freedom that Christ set us free"

Galatians 5:1

So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.
