honor

By Pastor Warren

Gazing up at the stars and the galaxy, I feel as if I am honoring God by honoring his creation.

Science affirms God’s presence, but I give God all the credit, glory, and honor for everything he created.

Honor has lost some of its power in our modern language.

Honor stands as a pillar of strength, commitment, and devotion to our faith.

How you honor God is revealed in how you put Him first in every detail of your life.

When the word “honor” appears in the scripture, it refers to how much you think something is worth.

A Shared Sense of Value

  1. When we honor God with our lives, we also honor what He values most.

  2. Loving God and loving our neighbor is intertwined.

  3. When we dishonor people, we also dishonor God.

  4. Honor sees the goodness of God and draws attention to it.

  5. Thriving is about honoring; Honoring is about obedience.

  6. Stop striving, start thriving

  7. If you want to thrive, stop whatever dishonors God in your life.

  8. The servant of the Lord does not strive.

  9. “Go for peace and for Holiness with everyone, without which no one will see the Lord.” – 2 Cor. 7:1

  10. As we begin to thrive, we grow and mature in our faith.

  11. We are alive to thrive and honor God daily; so don’t strive, but thrive for Jesus today.
