Are You Willing To Change?

Updated: May 24, 2023

The moment you make a decision and take action is the defining moment for your future! - Warren Richardson

In order to facilitate change, you must be willing to do some things differently and some different things.

Motivation is the key to the situation.

Momentum is the driving force.

Management is the key to development.

What is the key to changing your life?

It is simple “you must decide!”

You must have vision because your vision determines your decisions; which then leads to action and that becomes contagious!

Decision making can become contagious!

Change is like a Bradley tank you have 3 choices:

  • Step in front of it and let it run over you.

  • Step back and let it pass you by.

  • Or, you can get on board and ride it and eventually move to the front and drive it.

The definition for insanity is to keep on doing the exact same thing the exact same way and expect different results!

There are 3 things that cause us to change:

  • The right leverage

  • The necessary momentum

  • The compelling energy

In his book adversity Quotient, Dr. Paul Stoitz says, “That there are three quotients or standard predictors that impact our success.”

There is IQ - Intelligence Quotient

There is EQ - Emotional Quotient

And AQ - Adversity Quotient

AQ is the level of adversity that one is conditioned to go through to ascend the mountain and reach their goals.

3 levels of AQ:

  1. Quitters - abandon the climb when times get tough and simply give up!

  2. Campers - they start up the mountain, get to a smooth spot and end up staying there.

  3. Climbers - keep going in spite of the obstacles, they see obstacles as a natural part of the process.

Campers and climbers will meet at the same place during challenging times.

Campers lose their ability to climb; they get slower and weaker as time goes by.

Climbers get stronger and stronger climbers tend to be excellent leaders and guides.
